For those of us appealing to AI Chat to effectively produce any kind of information in impeccably well phrased and structured prose, particularly of the unmediated sort not leveraged for publication/professional use that would otherwise compel the researcher to apply at least some quality control/transformational measures (although hardly exclusive), I gaze at gradual degradation in the ability
- for independent research through disparate sources.
- to organize and structure information.
- to write, produce dialectic and organize thought.
The consequences heighten among those who already produce little personalized written content of any substantial length, be it even a personal site or blog or even lengthy epistolary communication. The same concerns groups that don’t much read anything of quality rhetoric.
Each applicable group faces risk in the above nature, but some far greater than others given AI Chat usage patterns and habits.
